I think my guy hates being brushed because he was a rescue. When they got him he was badly matted and knotted. Groomer had to cut his fur where it was bad. Made him look choppy. Which explains why he seems so tender on his skin when brushing. He was also badly emaciated at the time of rescue. He's gonna be 2 and he's just learning everything right now. It was such a sad story! But he's happy and I love him! My other 2 yorkies don't have fur problems.
