Default Foamy vomit

Hi! I have a 2 year old female yorkie who is always getting into stuff. Yesterday she started vomiting, threw up a few times, ate dinner and drank normally, had normal energy then went to sleep a little earlier than normal. This morning she had energy when she woke up, went out to potty normally but then didn't want to eat and then threw up just a tiny (size of a quarter) amount of clear foam.
The only time she has ever thrown up in the past was due to eating something she shouldn't have, so I assumed that was what this was, but am a little worried it happened again today. My main question is someone watched her last week and gave her one of those white bone things. If that is what is causing her sickness (swallowed too big of a piece maybe) will it eventually dissolve and pass through her or will she need surgery to have it removed?
We have insurance for her, so it is free for her to see the vet; however, my experience is either they do nothing or want to do every test under the sun unnecessarily. I would just like to have a better understanding before we taker her to the vet if thats what she needs. thanks!
