A pet odor cleanser like Nature's Miracle. it's not enough to have it clean to our sight and smell. our puppies have better sense of smell than we do.
I had bunjee confined to the kitchen for the first couple weeks, then gradually expanded his area of freedom. he wasn't allowed on carpet until 10 weeks after i've gotten him (he was 18 weeks old at the time). nowadays, (he's 22 weeks now) he's free to roam about the condo himself if i'm home. he's fenced off and limited to the tiled areas only when he's by himself.
sometimes we'd play in the living room area and he'll all of a sudden run off into the kitchen (where his pad is) and then a minute later, run back to continue playing. and sure enough, when i check the potty pad, there's a stain.
