Thanks everyone! Got more cleaning than cooking done yesterday, so this am started with the preparation. My goodness I forgot how long it takes to peel core and slice apples for a pie! Phew taking a break because my pie dough was too warm to roll out - back in the fridge for a bit to cool down.
Trying out a new dressing recipe too - smells yummy. Sausage apple and of course bread cubes, also they asked for cranberries in it, it will be savoury with the types of spices used.
The beet and cauliflower casserole is prepared. Squash prep next after pie, then I'll peel the spuds and finally relax till it is time to cook it all up! Finally the soup - we are having roasted pepper soup with a cream pesto topping.
The doggies are helping me cook too! Oops I just saw Razzle run by with a piece of apple. That means he snuck up onto the kitchen table and helped himself - the brat! He is now in hiding lol. I warned them this am that there was going to be lots of luscious smells from the kitchen. But temptation is very high to sample the goodies.
