Callie was called klepto Callie when she was a pup. Now if it's dog related like a treat in a shopping bag she will reach in a take it. If I have a tote down from her treat closet she will faster then you can even imagine grab a treat or the package treats are in and take off. If I tell her no she will stop but she's so fast. Sometimes she will play with a sock but not often. She used to really love stealing clothes from shopping bags. Paper products were the worst she would take and shred them. Once my mom was knitting and she grabbed the bundle of yarn and took of through the house unraveling it.
