Yes, I know what you mean. Lexi was free fed and ate twice a day on her own, but when I recently got a Shih Tzu puppy who was a little piggy and wanted to eat all the time I had to start putting the food down on a schedule. At that age he should definitely be able to sleep through the night. What time does he usually go to sleep and wake up? Lexi is 9 months old and can sleep 10 hours with out having to go potty. Also, is he crated at night or sleep with you?
