It's called statistics. Of course not EVERY family with yorkies and small children will experience a problem. It's just that the odds are a lot higher that it may happen. Do you think the breeders that wont sell to families with small children made that up just for fun?

Most Yorkshire Terriers feel overwhelmed by the loud voices and quick movements that children can't help making -- and stress and fearfulness (even defensive biting) may be the result."
