Those little hairs can drive you crazy. Gracie was over a year before hers were all grown out but you will always, from time to time, have new hair growth.

The Neomycin is a good idea as it helps weigh the hair down and will help prevent infection if the hairs are irritating the eye. You can use plain petroleum jelly if you want. The Neomycin uses it as a base anyway. You could put a little on her nose hair just before bed. Long haired dogs do need attending to in the morning just like we do. If you want her to have long hair then it is something you will have to deal with daily.

They do sell hair gel for dogs but Gracie hated the stuff and it caused her to rub her face into the rug. Not good. It had a scent to it that I guess she did not like at all.
