I have had a similar problem with a 4 yr old dog. It started in the summer time. We have to feed him rice & chicken or meat. We keep trying to add in dry dog food but when we do he gets the runs again. He seems to do well on this bland diet. I just wonder how long you can feed a dog this diet. I add oil to the rice and he does eat small amounts of other foods. I add the other foods in one at a time and small amounts to see how he does.
