Your vet does know best as far as finding that other little sucker! When I was a tech and we had a cryptorchid sometimes the other one was right there and just needed a little nudge down. Other times it required a second incision to find it. Depending on how tiny it was or where it was located made the difference on cost. If it was easy there was no extra charge. If it required a hunt there was usually a 20$ fee. Hopefully your vet won't gouge you ;-) but I think you are wise doing it sooner rather than later. Hope everything goes smooth for your little man! |
