Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier Adult Dry Dog Food
Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier Adult Dry Dog Food, 10-lb bag
I've been searching for a replacement dry dog food for a couple weeks now. Gucci seems to not like Orijin in the two flavors I've tried recently. I literally have to get down on all fours and make sloppy eating noises while hoarding his bowl to get him to eat it or feed him one kibble at a time by hand. I was going to try a Farmina no grain but decided against it for various reasons.
This morning, I stumbled onto "Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier Adult Dry Dog Food" at chewy.com. This time, in addition to spending hours on the web looking for ratings and info, I decided to check with you all, here at YT.
Looking at the ingredients, I really didn't see much that is special but that is comparing it to the more exotics.
Gucci is about 5 pounds, 11-13 years old, walks 3 miles 3-5 days a week, very low key personality, barks about once a month, seems very happy, swallows his food whole, requires very small kibble.
Any thoughts, experience or knowledge about this breed specific, yorkie, dog food would be much appreciated. I'd love to hear all of the possible negatives in this thread! LOL
