When I called back in the afternoon they had a 3 pm appt open so I took him. Because of the doctor change they were really backlogged. Anyway, Cerulean apparently only had another upset stomach. After explaining the events of the day and going over his upset stomach from last week the dr concluded he just has another upset stomach. We think the culprit is the enzymatic dental chew because both times this has happened was after a chew the night before. I asked about pancreatitis and he said Cerulean would be much worse than he was if that was the case. Since he is playing and actually has a desire to eat he said those are all good things. Doc gave him a shot to ease his stomach and instructed me to give him the tiniest dose of Pepcid I've ever heard of. Poor baby had to wait until 8 to dinner but I gave in and gave it to him at 8. I couldn't take the sad hungry eyes anymore. He ate it all and so far it's staying down. The doc said that some yorkies have sensitive stomachs and its looking like mines is one of them.
We are going through the same thing.I would only slowly introduce stuff like chews or treats back in one at a time so you know which ones are causing the problems.
