So, I am wondering, how old is Luci, and what lead to the diagnosis? Did you notice symptoms, or did a vet pick up on it though bloodwork? I'm sure your previous experience with Molly made you aware of what to look for.

Hugs to you and Luci.
Sandy --Luci is 6 1/2 yrs old. There are alot of differences between when Molly was Dx'd and Luci's.

The only thing I took Luci to Vet for was her obsession with drinking lot's of water, which of course makes them pee a lot. Which is one the possible signs, but that is the only thing she is doing. Vet did blood work and several of the values were off, which was leading them to believe she may have Addisons. So the only way to test for that was the ACTH Stim test, and when the results came back it was showing she was positive for Cushings and NOT Addisons. (ACTH Stim is the same test that is used for Cushings and Addisons)

I just got the results yesterday and haven't yet talked with the particular Vet that is taking care of Luci. I do have a lot of questions as I am not fully convinced of the DX. My reasoning is she not showing any other symptoms.

I do think I am going to go ahead and have the Abdominal Ultra Sound done on her and see if that give's a clearer picture.

The Medication for this issue is something that has always scared me. It can be Toxic if not done correctly.

So hope fully I will get more answers after I talk with her Vet.
