I personally have an issue with Nuvet. They encourage breeders to put a contractual agreement to use Nuvet for the first year or two after the purchase of a puppy or the guarantee is voided.

Why would a breeder do this? Nuvet gives each breeder a code that the buyer must use when making a purchase. The breeder will get a kickback for each supplement purchased.

This setup then becomes less about nutrition and more about profits. The breeders will give glowing reviews of the product since they now have a vested interest in it.

a google search of nuvet and breeders will show that they all have the same nice words to say about the product, since it was given to them by Nuvet to put on their website.

Think about it. Why would a dog require shark cartilage or oyster shells? Has shark ever been part of a healthy dog diet throughout history?
