Hi everyone - I just wanted to say hello. I was a Yorkie owner until just over a year and a half ago. My 10 year old girl, Peyton, passed away and I just didn't have it in me to get another pup then. Now that I'd like to have another dog, I've decided that it will definitely be another Yorkie. Actually, I want two.

I'm checking in here to refresh my memory on all of the things to look for when getting a new pup so I can begin my search. It can be overwhelming and I've already read some good info on where not to buy. I'll be searching the forum but if you have positive experiences or recommendations to share, I'd love to know that too.

Hopefully sometime over the next few months I'll be a Yorkie 'mom' again.
