THANK YOU everyone for helping me sort through all of this. I was surprised and delighted to receive a phone call last night from the Yorkie breeder, Ava. She was most reassuring and told me that she did NOT breed Yorkies with known patella problems. Someone from Yorkie Talk had contacted her about my anxious posts. I was mistaken in thinking that her daughter's Yorkie that needed patella surgery was the sire for this litter. Mea culpa! I apologized profusely and want to make sure that you know this. I will not be buying the puppy with the Grade 2 patella but will be looking at her other puppies. |
