I use Pet Silk silk serum, and like Show Girl Lola, use a rat tail comb. Hold a section of hair and use the steel tail of the comb (pointing downward away from your pup's body) to detangle.
Corn starch also works to give the hair slip.
Go slow and work on small sections making sure not to tug at your pup's skin.
