Well, we got our cool spell and really appreciate it and the 79 degree temperature, even if it took a wild storm to usher it in. A quarter of a million North Texas were out of power for a good while, many overnight and some won't get power until possibly Monday!!! My power was out for almost two hours right after the strong wind hit! It was so hot and humid at first until the sun went down and a little breeze began to blow but not too long after that, we got power back!!! PTL!!! I'm so sorry for those poor wretches that are still having to live in almost primitive conditions without signal lights in their neighborhoods and no power in their homes or stores. I wanted cool air but not this way! C'mon, Ma Nature. That was mean.
