I never said my friendship with her made her a good breeder, But tarring and feathering any person before anyone has the facts is wrong regardless. I don't understand how most jump on a breeder for letting a potential buyer know before she even gets the puppy that it has a problem with it's knees , but let someone come on here with no knowledge of breeding come on here and say they have an oops or they just want to breed their dog once and it's okay. unbelievable. I don't think the cost of the surgery is crazy as my vet is one that does not charge over 1000 for a lp surgery and it's not because he is a bad vet it's because he has 4 other locations and he is also a repro vet so he can afford to lower his costs. In fact a friend of mine had LP surgery done on one of her pups and her total costs including medications and bloodwork prior to the surgery was only 800.
