And my little one adores peanut butter and almond butter. Is it ok to give this in small amounts every few days when I'm eating it as well or better to avoid the almond butter? |
The choice between inducing vomiting and surgical removal I believe would depend on a number of factors, including the size of the nut, size of the dog, whether or not the nut was chewed, how long it is in the system. There are other treatments required for the ingestion of toxic substances.
I would skip the almond butter and stick to peanut butter (in limited amounts).
