My heart is still racing. Some people need to be better pet owners. We were on our morning walk around the neighborhood and some big black dog comes up outta nowhere growling and snarling at my little guys. I screamed and blocked the dog with my leg, which hurt. Luckily the dog was wearing a harness so I grabbed it and pulled him away. The owner came up and apologized, I was so stunned I didn't know what to say, I just said watch your dog. I was so scared in that moment. My poor little babies. Chibi acted all tough but poor little Molli went flat and I had to carry her back to the house she was trembling. I don't know what I would do without my babies. If that dog had bit one of them...so much could have happened. It's a good reminder though to alway pay attention while out on walk, you never know when some idiot will let their aggressive dog loose. I am so glad nothing happened but on the verge of tears just thinking about what could have happened. I'm hugging my little ones a little tighter today.
