Thank you for all your responses. And yes, I thought about that as well... luckily he swallowed half the nut and did not chew it as it came out in whole. We need to remind ourselves each and every day to watch our little ones like hawks. What do vets do in these situations...induce vomiting or go in and operate to remove the piece?

And my little one adores peanut butter and almond butter. Is it ok to give this in small amounts every few days when I'm eating it as well or better to avoid the almond butter?
