I'm so sorry for your loss. It's been about 4-6 years since I last had yorkies (both of them past away within a year or two of each other). The jack russells we've had as well kept us occupied, so it was easier to wait a few years before I felt the strong urge for another and it was worth the wait. If you feel you are ready, then go for it. Your heart will know when the time is right and best.
