Pills should always be given back of throat, hold mouth closed and stroke throat. If you start as a puppy (Worm pills example), should be easy, won't print here a visual is better, Vet should have showed/demonstrated how to give pills when prescribing.
Those pill treats you get to hide pills in give you no guarantee the meds went where they were supposed to and worse yet pup might bite/chew a pill that should be in stomach before dissolving. |
