I'm so sorry your little kiddo is acting "off".

I'll be totally honest - I'd never, ever take my dogs to a groomer...we groom all 3 of ours ourselves. When we first got Wylie, we tried a few groomers - and they ALL cut his quick and he was totally traumatized by it. To this day, EIGHT years later -- it's still a total battle to trim his claws.

I think the groomers can be very, very traumatizing for some dogs - esp those who are just more sensitive. Those "dryer boxes" look super scary to me and I can't imagine having my precious ones in those things, honestly.

Perhaps you should try to do the grooming yourself, is that an option? We have some good info/threads in our Grooming section here, to help you along.

In any case, I just hope your little girl perks back up soon, poor little thing.
