You're so right about learning to do one at a time. He's really doing good with outside so once he's got that down we will work on the pads. He is doing everything his big brother is doing so he will eventually learn to use the pads from him.
It can take puppies awhile to get used to collars and harnesses. If he can get his jaw in the collar it's to lose for getting him used to it. I think collars are important for an id tags but that only. My girl is 7 and after she was older and not a puppy I started putting her collar lose enough where if she got stuck on something she could slide he head out. It's nice having another dog that's potty trained and stuff to show the new guy how it's done lol. Good luck with everything.
