I adopted Cody 10 months ago at age 2 ˝ y/o. He got car sick the very first day and every time he was in the car. So the only time he went in the car was to the vets office. Very upsetting to me because all my girls were just about raised in the car, never had a dog that got car sick, but these were puppies that I had at 8 weeks old and raised by me, not a rescue dog like Cody is.. I took my girls every where with me and wanted the same for my boy. Then I got him a booster seat, it’s suspended off the passenger seat and has a clip that attaches to his harness. From the first day he used the booster seat there was no panting, no wet muzzle from all the panting, no vomiting, he sits in his booster seat like he is a king sitting on his thrown while looking out of the window. I am soooo happy that I can now take him where ever I go. Now when I tell him Cody goes bye-bye in the car, he runs to where his harness is kept instead of hiding under the bed. He LOVES going in the car now. He hated the car before because he always got sick. Here is the seat I got him.
Cody weighs 12 lbs, the booster seat below is a large, Cody has enough room to lay down and sleep, they sell xs, small, Med. and the large. This seat is suspended OFF the passenger seat so this one works perfect for him, Name of booster seat at Pet supplies….Tagalong Pet Booster Seat…large size holds up to 18 Lb dog.
