He's probably just wanting to see if there is evidence of a partial blockage or something like that adding to your pain. But all the same, I'll be praying hard for a good report that can diagnose you and direct him on the proper treatment to get you out of pain. Anytime we face serious tests, life gets suddenly very serious and scary, I know. I used to drive to work in Arlington and would regularly see several billboards in a row that advertised its product for times of celebration - such as job promotion, graduation day, team championship, etc., and the final billboard was "Negative test results".
