No, I haven't seen that and both Apple and AT&T tell me I have to wait. We just got Verizon up here, and I was hopeful they might pay off the account if I switched to them, but they told me no. All they will do is give me a $200 turn-in fee on my old phone.
I considered a switch to Verizon anyway, but they're only offering 6 gigs of data for a price comparable to what I'm paying AT&T for 10 gigs. Plus while I could switch Oct. 22, my wife has to wait until Dec. 24 until her AT&T contract runs out. I think we're stuck.
