Thank you Sandy Simpson. At some point I am going to re-write the post about what happened that I deleted by accident. I just can't do it emotionally right now. Also, my 7 year old daughter is really having a hard time with it. She is the one in the pictures holding Twisty - it was the first thing she did every day when she came home from school. Today is going to be the first day coming home with no Twisty to cuddle. I can deal with my pain and grief but watching her not being able to fully understand it all is painful in itself. She is going to the school counselor today to help her understand and deal with some of her feelings. I hope to post the whole situation soon so you guys can help me come to terms with it all and hopefully reassure me that I made the right decision. I am not sure my heart will ever be whole again... |
