They are high energy for sure. The only time I've seen Razzle plop down is after a 3-4 hr hike, with swimming in the middle of the walk. But 20 minutes later he was up and ready to go again :-)


How-ever he is almost 6yrs old now, and does like to nap besides Moms lap, but in flash he can be up and about. We can have a 1/2 day of dock jumping and by the time we reach home, he is raring to go again!


I have found my dogs do kind of adjust to my lifestyle - for eg: we like to start slowly in the morning. I get up quite early and the pups are okay to get up with me, but I do have my coffee first, before walking them - I have a backyard to let them out in - after a cup of java, out for the walks we go.
