I am soooo happy you will be getting another baby. As for males. I adopted my lil boy several months ago, he was 2 1/2 y/o. His prev. owner had him neutered at a very early age (I have the papers on that) , before the leg lifting (marking) began. The longer you wait to neuter and the longer he lifts leg to pee-pee & mark it becomes a habit that may not be broken after he is neutered (that is if you are planning to neuter). Ask your vet what age to neuter the male. If Izzy is 8 months old and lil boy is same age, that is when most males get neutered 7 or 8 months old, always check with your vet. My lil boy squats when he pee-pees and DOES NOT HUMP does not mark, no leg lifting period. I am NOT saying neutered males do not hump, just saying mine does not, but I didn't have him as a baby, I don't know what he did as a puppy. Again so very happy you are planning on getting another baby for lil Izzy and yourself.
