That is awesome! I was all set to adopt a 4 y.o. male and ended up having communication issues w/ a rescue group just north of me i.e. although I was approved they wouldn't send me any information on the dog or let me have access to the foster Mom and it was getting down to the wire. It all felt very weird. I ended up feeling like it wasn't fair to this good looking guy or me so I took myself out of the running. A good friend that very actively fosters here in Maine thought the whole thing was very odd how they went about things and she was one of my references! So that was what my initial intent and search was. My Louis was a 'found' dog and he was such a great little guy I was all set to do it again!

That said this will be my last Puppy. I haven't had one in 40 years! After that I will rescue seniors.

I am sure I will be picking everyone's brain here in a month regarding puppyhood! I have been reading and reading and reading some more both the puppy info here and elsewhere…but this is the best!
