I think that since he has been shaking and gagging for a month or more now he needs to be seen by a vet. Could you call your vet and ask them for advice and see what they say. That would worry me but I have no idea myself if it was the bones or not. I do know I had a poodle that I gave a milk bone to one time and ended up having to take her to emergency because she started having really bad diarrhea. Cannot be certain if that was it because I never gave her any more but the vet said not to give any more in case that was the cause. Hope things work out well for you and myself I would stop giving those bones if that is when this whole thing started.
