Its best to take time crate training, start just getting used to it then, like sleeping in crate in living room and at night in bedroom. Then short periods during day when your in room, use toys or cookies to get pup to go in crate on own, use a word like "Crate" as pup goes in to get command started. I use "Settle" as a Place Command and to settle down if Pup get wild in crate. Then short trip out of room, minutes at first and lengthening slowly. Once you can leave room at will and come back to a sleeping or relaxed pup do same but leaving home.

Avoiding Crate stress is easier then correcting a Crate stressed pup so take your time and treat/praise and above all exercise before crating, always try to take for walk before starting crate training. A well exercised pup is easier to train and way happier
