Default Yorkie has started avoiding us

Our Charlie is 7 now and up until we moved house last December was always very affectionate to all the family. After we moved he seemed to develop an allergy and started going off by himself during the day and sleeping on our bed, he never went upstairs in our last house. We thought it was because he wasn't feeling well and it has taken a long time to sort out his skin problem, but it's been ok for a few weeks now. The thing is, he is still avoiding us and going off to a room on his own all the time. I often go and bring him downstairs but when we aren't looking he sneaks off again. He also used to love going to for walks, but now he often stops walking and refuses to walk any further. We just don't know what the reason is. We have taken him to the vet and had a check up and blood tests and they have found nothing wrong. Our cat died a few weeks ago and we wonder whether he misses her? But they didn't really get on well so I don't think it can be that. Has anyone got any ideas? We want our loving pet back and I worry there is something wrong with him
