Please keep us posted on how things workout. My 6-year-old female has not taken to our new puppy who is 10-weeks-old. She has allowed her to be closer to her, but there's still lots of barking and growling on both their parts. And the older one shows teeth frequently so I have to police their interactions. The younger one seems to taunt the older one at times.


It's lots of work to show extra effort and attention with my oldest while training my youngest. Fortunately, the youngest is so EASY to train compared to the oldest. I have her pottying on demand already as well as coming and sitting pretty regularly. I'm amazed.


I do hope my oldest feels like the Diva she is. She's incredibly "human".
