Default New Puppy, Old Diva

We have a 14-year-old queen bee Yorkie and will be getting our 13-week old male puppy next week. Cozy has shown some aggression before to my sister's havanese--we've never really let them play out their interaction for fear that Cozy might hurt her.
We know we'll need to diligently supervise Cozy's interactions with the new puppy, and will make every effort to reassure her she's still the queen. She sleeps with us so we'll have the puppy sleep in a crate at least at first.

Any tips from you experts on how best to introduce the puppy to the diva? We are getting a boy because of advice I read on here about the opposite sex being a bit easier to integrate with an adult dog. Thanks for your help.
