Well, I think the Ads on AKC are a fine place to start. You can see listings of purebred pups plus they highlight the breeders that are YTCA members and breeders of merit. After that, double check that they are club members (at YTCA website) and do a google search of the breeders name and the kennel name. Any bad reviews (and good ones too) will show up. It takes time and a lot of effort but it's worth it. Good luck.
