I looked at a ton of pictures of obstructed anal glands on google and none of them look like her issue. In those pictures the obstructed glands are located at the 8 and4 o'clock BENEATH the actual anus. So I'm feeling pretty good it's probably just irritation due to the straining. I applied hemaroid cream as suggested and will monitor for any change. I'll take another look at the tail after that's all healed. My poor sweetie...
