The AKC is the only reputable registry in the US but there are still puppy mills who use them and breeders who will forge papers and stuff so just AKC doesn't make them good and it is better then the other registries you can register anything with but definitely not perfect. The ytca has ethics and puppy mills will not bother being a member if there's.
