Sorry you are getting all this grief with your I-devices.
I would hesitate to reset the device, as when I had my IPad issue I think the Genius said it would delete all my stuff. But if you pay the $100 and recover the data first it should be OK??? I don't know about IPhones or the WonderShare program, so I am no help LOL! But I am always nervous about resets etc as I don't know what will be deleted.
If you can go to the store and get the Genius to fix it, it may be safer…they are great!!! My issue was very complex but she knew all the tricks of the trade and I was so happy with the outcome. You do not pay for the Genius but if you needed a part that may cost you. If you want to be sure and not wait I would go to Apple.com and schedule an appointment.
