A couple years ago my Cali was attacked by a hawk while playing with her ball in the back yard. There is no way I can't tell you how fast it all happened. Cali (3.5 pounds) fought like a tiger and killed the hawk. Fish and wild life did not believe she killed it (broke its neck) and I got fined $10,000 because they were sure I had killed it because they saw Cali as too small
Long story short, all ended well (with the help,of a good attorney who kept me out of jail), but we went through 2 years of major anxiety issues with Cali, now fortunately resolved.
DO NOT underestimate these predators
. They are fast, deadly and have survived doing what they do! Our little ones, in general are not prepared to deal with them.
