This is good!!

And I can attest that my half vaccines were effective at creating immunity in the litter we had.

I know there's a whole thing about breeders vaccinating themselves and all that, but I was more comfortable doing it myself, doing half doses, and knowing that the girls were healthy and not over vaccinated. I started them at the earliest, because we had Parvo in the house 3 years ago with Noah, and I was scared it would be an issue, especially since Allie went all mommie dearest on us and didn't want to have anything to do with them and they didn't get much needed mommy milk and immunities from her. We limited visitors, the entire puppy area was quarantined, cleaned, clean and cleaned again, and anyone entering that area had to leave their shoes outside, wash their hands before going in, and be spritzed with virkon. I wasn't taking any unnessacary chances. I didn't want them in a vets office, getting who knows what germs and diseases any more than needed. They were vet checked, tails docked and dew claws removed, and then vet checked again before going to new homes. Everything else was handled by me.
