I would talk to vet about emergency kit in case of bee sting. If he is indeed allergic the reaction can be so quick that you will need a shot. I had to keep prednisone and an epi pen with my first Yorkie, she stopped breathing after bee stings twice. Benedryl is fine for minor reactions.
