 Roomba
I love mine and it is great for hard surfaces. I found that it only removes surface dirt from carpets and I need the regular vacuum as well for those. The nice thing is it picks up hairs and light particles that tend to accumulate on hard floors. If the floor is dirty the filter gets clogged up with the fine dust, the machine may shut off before it is done. I tend to check the dirt box and filter to check it is ok during the cleaning. The one bad issue I have is that it drives my dog crazy. He regards it as public enemy number one and tries hard to beat the doors down to get at it to kill it. So I only use it when he is out!
I am not sure but I think the lighthouse is a light box and sensor system where the Roomba can be confined to a given area, and will not cross the light beam. I may be wrong, but could check the booklet if you want. All in all i think it is a great idea. |
