I'm so sorry to read this about poor Buster but you were and are doing your best! My Tibbe has eye goop at times on the hepatic food he must eat and severe IBS so that I'm so scared to try to change him to any other method of food for fear of another attack of diarrhea and vomiting. Right now he has a healing hot spot type place on his right lower back though he doesn't bother or scratch at it. I've used the medicated shampoo he's been prescribed, along with a Benadryl topical spray and it's healing up but boy, do I hate allergies!

Here's hoping and praying that you can find out what to feed him that won't make him sick!
