How old is he? I thought all yorkies turned a little white/silver as they were going through the transformation of puppy to adult coat? Well... Not all yorkies I guess. My Kaji is now 6 years old and his colors are not done changing.
He still has some darker fur on his ears and face. He's so much lighter (gold) than he was 5 years ago when I got him, but still... He's taking his sweet time getting there.
If Teddy is still young, he might be in that weird "ugly duckling" phase? His coat may still change a little too. Kaji has a thick, kinky/curly, unrully true soft coat (or cotton coat). Teddy's coat looks so silky compared to Kaji's coat.
