Woke up to my Winni crying and went to get him to put him in bed with me only to find he could hardly walk. His left hind leg was collapsing under him He didn't seem to be in pain and was crying as he always does at 3am to snuggle with me. I am beside myself. I took him to the vet immediately at 7 and they took him in to sedate and take X-rays. Dr thinks it is his knee, which has dislocated. Oh my gosh! I am so worried.
Has anyone gone through this luxating patella issue? My other Yorkie has these issues, but is doing fine. But, my poor Winni can barely walk…falling down constantly. Sick with worry!
