I feel bad for poor Buster Brown as I just received his allergy panel results. I had spent so much time agonizing over Busters food making sure it was nutritious and that he would eat it, a daunting task as most Yorkie owners know with our finicky little babies. Well I found out that he has been allergic to most of the food I have been feeding him over the years.

Even the supplements like the fish oil for coat and skin.
Buster is allergic to chicken, turkey, duck, pork, fish mix, salmon, rabbit, eggs, oats, soybeans, green peas, berries, and bananas, For his environmental allergies he is allergic to honey bees, house flys

, storage mites found in dry food, feathers, his own yeast (candida) and bacteria (staphylococcus), pecan/hickory trees, ragweed and sagebrush, cotton linters, and pyrethrum? Surprisingly he is not allergic to fleas.
Needless to say all my good intentions with his diet have contributed to a very itchy dog. So now armed with his allergy report I will start looking for new foods and treats, luckily there are many foods he is not allergic to so it is not overwhelming just challenging.
